[Exhibition “FOLON” from April 5th] Enjoy art at the Abeno Harukas Art Museum

Exhibition “Imaginary Travel Guide Jean-Michel Folon” (April 5th – June 22nd, 2025)

Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon (1934-2005)

Folon’s works are poetic and humorous, and are expressed in soft colors and a light touch. They take the viewer on a journey of fantasy, while also containing rich messages that help them become aware of the various things happening in our world.

20 years since Folon’s death – First major retrospective in Japan in 30 years

You can enjoy approximately 230 pieces by Folon, including paintings, photographs, posters, sculptures, objects, and animations, as if you were taking a fantasy trip.

After viewing the exhibition, head to the goods shop

Once you’ve finished looking around the exhibition, you’ll arrive at the goods shop. There are a variety of goods with Folon’s work as the motif. They’re great for yourself or as souvenirs.
