Mt. Gozaisho turns into a silvery white world in winter
The frost-covered trees on Mt. Gozaisho (1,212m above sea level) can be seen from late December to early March at altitudes of over 1,000m. However, these natural formations can only be seen when the following weather conditions are met. The weather conditions for frost-covered trees are more likely to be met from January to February, and there are more opportunities to see them around the mountain park.

Gozaisho Ski Resort opens on January 1st!
In addition to slopes for beginners and advanced skiers, there are also slopes for sledding and snowshoe courses, so everyone from children to adults can have fun.
Ski equipment rentals and ski schools are also available, so even beginners can enjoy the resort with peace of mind.

There is a restaurant on the mountain, and the food is excellent.
After enjoying skiing and the snowy scenery, we recommend the “Gozaisho Curry Udon,” a specialty of the mountaintop restaurant at Gozaisho! The combination of the chewy “Ise Udon” and the curry is exquisite. In addition, desserts such as pancakes and soft serve ice cream, as well as drinks such as coffee and tea are also available for purchase, so you can enjoy a cafe time after your meal.
